HTML Games
In this section, the project, made for PROGRAMMING FOR ART AND GAMES course, consisted of two games. One was named Scarlette. It was basically a classical snake game that you could find on an old Nokia phone but with a twist. A math puzzle will be given to the player and the snake can only eat the token with right answer.
The other Game was this, The Running Man. This is Basiccaly a platformer game in which the player has to run with a gun in his hands. He has to use the gun to smash obstacles along the way to get to his objectives. But not all obstacles should be smashed. Some of them are need to go over other obsacles and thus the player has to be careful.
The team consisted of three people, Me, Salihan and Soe Lynn. I worked on The Running Man by myself whilst the other two worked on Scarlette which is why i am not showing it here. To create The Running Man, I developed a small engine that could help me seemlessly spawn objects instantaneously by just calling a function and thus making the creation of the game easy. There were a few glitches on boundary collision but it was not obvious nonetheless. The game is made using html and html 5 elements.
